• Pattern Images to OpenAI: When you use OCR features, photos are sent directly to OpenAI for text extraction. We do not collect, store, or have access to these images. This is an optional feature - you can always input patterns manually.
• Error Reports: If you choose to email us about problems, your device info (iOS version, device type) may be included to help us resolve issues.
• Payment Processing: Subscription payments are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information.

Information Stored Locally

All your personal data stays on your device only:

• Pattern Data: Your crochet patterns, progress tracking, and completion history
• Yarn Inventory: Your personal yarn collection, including colors, brands, and quantities
• Photos: Pattern images and progress photos you capture or import
• Notes: Personal notes and annotations you add to patterns

• No Image Collection: Pattern images sent to OpenAI for OCR go directly to them - we never collect, store, or have access to these images

• No Advertising: We don't use advertising networks or tracking

• Local-only storage: All your patterns, progress, and yarn data stays on your device using iOS's secure storage
• No accounts required: No sign-ups, logins, or user profiles needed
• No tracking: No analytics, behavior tracking, or data collection
• Encrypted transmission: OCR image processing uses secure HTTPS connections
• iCloud Sync: If enabled, your data syncs across your devices using Apple's encrypted iCloud services

Your Control

You have complete control over your data:

• All data is stored locally on your device only
• Delete the app to remove all data completely
• OCR processing is optional - you can input patterns manually
• Error reporting is entirely voluntary
• You can disable iCloud sync in your device settings
• Export your patterns at any time for backup

Children's Privacy

StitchMark does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app does not require any personal information to function.
